i need help on springs

my buddy has a 93 kx250........what i need to know is if they make spings for a 300+lbs guy? he need springs for his weight, and i have no idea where to start!

Race tech has a spring calculator that should work. This link will get you started.

thanks, that help alot. after looking at the calculator........"i" need to go up on my spring rate on all "my" bikes!!!

.........im 200 lbs, and didnt think i was lacking that much on spring rate?

im going to leave mine alone.........but i HAVE to change the spring rate on my buddy's bike. that poor bike looks pityfull with him on it

......i kinda feel sorry for the bike.

RT recommends .54 for me but the biggest they carry for the KDX is .46's
They were soo much better

yea, i seen that. i was going with the .46 . he dont jump it, just kinda tags along. he hasnt rode in 10 years. he is getting alot better as far as climbing hills. i finally got the motor set up to pull him"up steep, long hills" , so now i need to set the suspension up the HOLD him!
