That's a great idea, Tom. I'm all for picking up and riding an alternate trail system . . . lots of trail systems out there. In addition to Rockhouse (Browning Fork), Buffalo Mountain System is almost as close as Rockhouse and now has 75 miles of trails . . . and then there's Little Coal . . .

we have a LOT of trails available.

I'm going to try to get my future brother-in-law to come out. He used to ride these trails before they became "commercialized" as he calls it. He likes to ride his quad but he's got an RM250 too, hopefully he can come out and join us.

Jerry knows trails that stretch from Charleston all the way to almost mid West Virginia. We don't hold enough gas in our tanks to make it, miles and miles of old railroad beds, logging roads, and mining access routes. Ones that have yet to became H & M.

He and his buddies like to get together and do hill climbs that are absolutely outrageous, you wouldn't believe what they try to climb. He has an old Yamaha TT500 he uses for that.

if they can't make it.

Nah, me neither Tom, no need to worry about me trying to drag you guys into something like that. Matter of fact I doubt any of us would dare call that much fun, a bunch of rednecks who can't afford skydiving so they come up with these ways for such a thrill. Those hills are downright perilous.

Ok you two, settle down. Probably the best thing to do is just meet at the campground. I think we all need to be there by 6:30pm, because they close the gates, or something. http://www.devilansecampground.com/

Since that's our "destination" the campground is a logical choice . . . am I missing something>

And it's 6pm, latest, call ahead if it's after 5pm so he knows to stay 'till 6pm. The owner locks the gates at that time and that'll prevent vehicular traffic into and out of the campground. That said, we ought to consider someone leaving a vehicle somewhere where we can get out if we need to make a run somewhere "after hours".

K, u could ask the guy if there is enough room to pitch a couple of tents on our sites, and a place to park. If its a no, then yeah, ya better reserve some spots. Make sure you tell them your with the KDX Rider group! Specialy since the Grandfather himself will be with u! :supz:
