skipro3, to disable pictures, go to Tools, Internet Options, Advanced tab, scroll down about 60% until you see "Multimedia", then there will be a check box almost at the bottom of the Multimedia section that say "show pictures". Clear the check box, then click on Apply, and OK.

In IE you would open up the Internet Properties and goto the advanced tab and scroll down to the multimedia section. You can uncheck the show pictures checkbox and IE will stop loading the pictures on a website by default. It will still show them if you right click on the blank picture and choose show picture. If you turn off the pictures however you will want to turn on the image placeholders so that the formating of the website stays consistant.skipro3 wrote:m0rie:

In Firefox it should be something along the lines of Tools > Options > Content > Show Images.
If you are browsing with the pictures enabled why are you right clicking on images and showing them?

I made a test web page earlier today showing a picture from this site. When it loaded the image, it was Bart, so I know a little about what you mean.

I can't upload to the gallery; I can't identify which bartbutt is the gallery link. Well, I figured it out, but the gallery is all bartbutts!!! I'll email to you but I don't know your email address. E-mail me and I'll reply with the screen captures. BTW that worked great!! You guys are gonna laugh you're "butts" off when you see it. The only thing different is that the screen capture has still butts while my view has butts a wiggleing everywhere and not in cadence.

o.k., I e-mailed the screen capture to Vince. It took a while due to the file size of over 3 megs and me on dial up 28.8 modem. Vince, post the photo and place it here on the thread like I did the generator so everyone can see it. I'm beginning to think you all are convinced I'm not sane!!!
