OK. I'm dropping the hammer!!! The CT groups is now 8 riders. I need to make reservations! When I did it last year, everyone else follow and we got this trip planned. We're going down for June 7 - 11.

How about you?

PS - Ricky now has a CR250 :supz:

I just reserved ALL OF DEVILS ANSE in Gilbert. The CT crew is taking the two leveled Trailhouse since it's the only one that can accommodate 8. We may be able to take a few more guys if needed.

I told Nancy Justus, (Owner 304-664-3273) that other's would be calling from KDX Rider.

What's left: The cabin sleeps 6 (or 7 if you don't mind the couch).
The 3 BR apartment, one King and 5 twins.

The are all reserved under my name Jim Blais from June 7-11. Just mention KDX Rider.

The rooms are available before and after those dates if you need them.

Let's ride!!!!

Awesome! Jim, looks like it might just be me and Dustin needing lodging, maybe one more. I think Jim Browning and his son are going to stay at his parents house. Maybe we could save a spot with us for Tom Moody. Sounds great! Let me know what I need to do....

We have 12 more beds. 6 in the house and 6 in the cabin. Pick your place and call Nancy and tell them your are with the Kdx rider group. Take the cabin and hook up with Ron's group from NY.

Yeah, as I figured. Was just wondering what is was based off of you reserving the whole place out....Looks like $30/night. Someone coming with me asked is all. Will reserve this week. One E-rider confirmed, maybe one other on a blue air compressor.

My group from NY is a total of 2. Let's get this all tallied up... If Browning is staying at his folks, then the Cincinatti group is 2 with a chance of 3. Fuzzy also has 2 with a chance of 3, and who knows about Michigan, or anyone else?

Also CT has June 7-11, to confirm, arriving the evening of the 7th, riding 8th 9th 10th and 11th, leaving the AM of the 12th.... That correct?

Sound good to me Rick !
My vacation is scheduled for that time although I will be on 4 wheels again this year.
I am going to try and get back on my KDX this spring but I'm not so sure
my shoulder will cooperate.
I think the 450 is going up for sale this year......

Jim, thanks for taking the initiative and making the reservations!

Me and my son will be staying at my parents house, but we'll try to "truck pool" with Rick and Dustin. Tentative plan (depending on Rick and Dustin) drive up Wednesday the 6th, ride evening of 6th (possibly), 7th through 10th, leave Monday the 11th.

Also . . . I just sent an invite to Kirk and Austin Jones (rode the first two years). I'll let you know as soon as I know . . . there is a KORHS race on the 10th so it's iffy.

so . . . smaller group starts the 7th but the group gets much bigger on the 8th.

Tally thus far for pretty firm attendees: 8 CT, 4 Cincy, 1 MI, 2 NY, 2 MD . . . that makes seventeen!!, WOW!!

If you are planning on getting there early, please call Devil's Anse and tack on the 6th. I only reserved starting at the 7th. Shouldn't be a problem, I hope.

You don't want to "camp" on your lonesome, it's unsafe and I don't know where you would you would pitch your tent in the first place where we're staying. If you really want to come out I'll bet there's a way you can stay in one of the cabins and have accomodations made for your privacy. Oughta be at least one room that you could have to yourself, someway, somehow.

Privacy ... HA. Ain't a one of you got anything I ain't seen.

O. Sorry. That sounds REALLY BAD!

Anyway. I would prefer to pitch a tent ... even at Bear Wallow ... and meet up with you guys somewhere. I love sleeping outside with a nice raging fire beside me. :) I will have to see how things go by then. Who knows? Will worry about it when the time comes.

Butterfly, IF you were going to come and camp, this would be the spot to camp.

http://www.twinhollowcampground.com/

Awesome mountain view and RIGHT off the trail. However, it is an interesting drive up from town, they reccomend a 4 wheel drive vehicle to access their campground when you reserve.

That said, you'd be best to try to work it out to stay with the group, more comfy and more comradery.
