I think it's only about a 3 hour drive for me . . . 10AM on Sunday seems very doable for us. We can ride 'til dark and still make it home in a reasonable time. Btw, according to the ER doc I cracked a couple ribs and "dinged" a tendon in my arm when my KDX invited me over the handle bars on a rocky downhill this afternoon. I was told to not ride tomorrow but whatever I can stand after that is fine. As of now, we're in for Haspin!!!!

The weather channel is showing 64 and p/cloudy on saturday, isolated t-storms on sunday (30%) high of 63 and a low of 49, and monday, mostly sunny and 63. If it doesnt worsen, lets go for it! Thats not bad!

Oh, we are going for it alright. Just bought a generator last week. Meijer had them on sale for $99 for a 2-stroke 1000Wer. We will be there rain or shine. The place dries out pretty quickly where it gets sun so it wont be bad. My fork springs are on their way hopefully they will get here for the weekend. I don't think they will take long to change. I really want to have thm for the trip!! I also made a copy of our manual on disk. I will try to bring you a copy if you need one.

We can build a hell of a bondfire with it!!

I got my springs today hopefully we will have time to change them. We have a little trip vehicle maintainance to do first. We will must likely have a trailer and the red F-150. I cann't wait. Each day is an eternity. Weather even looks beter!

They might get a little concerned about that fire Tom! I cant wait either! Gotta go tommorow and buy alot of plugs. I did get new brake pads put on the x today. I might not be able to go, but at least i can stop!

Trust me they wont care!! I don't go fast enough to use the brakes so they last a while. Looks like I will have the old springs in for the trip. I am going over to my brothers Thursday night for a maintanance night. I will push to put them in but might endup just raising the oil heighth. We have to put a tune up on the truck, rotate the tires and maybe change some oil in everything for the trip. THe weather is looking better. 10% chance down from 40% earlier in the week. Should be perfect.

Great! Do you have tools and a pouch on your bike? I never got one yet, and i might need for you to carry a wrench and about 28 plugs for me......

Ya, I have a wrench and a few plugs in there. I can fit a few more. I bring a multitool every ride never know what you will need. I have read somewhere on here what should go in there but that means I cann't bring that spare beer for in case I break down

He took the carb apart this morning and the float needle retaining bar was missing. That is why it was peeing like that and hopefully we can find someone with an o-ring to fit today. If not I don't know what to do. It is too late to order anything. I am sure I can afro-engineer something, I am not giving up on this trip, I just may need a vacation afterwards.
