Rick call me and leave an ETA once you guys are on the road.
If you don't have my number Jim does....

So I decide to install my Dyna Ring now that my leaky crank seals have been replaced. I'm thinking "I can install this in an hour, then test/tune it tomorrow after work"... just in time for the WV trip. I also decided it's time to get serious & buy/use a torque wrench. Everything goes smoothly & I'm putting the spring bolts back in, being very careful to do everything correctly. Specification for clutch spring bolt torque is 8.8 N-m or 78 in-lb. SNAP!! And it wasn't the sort of snap I wanted to hear. Now I get to frantically shop for a matching bolt & an "easy out" after work tomorrow.
F**K TORQUE WRENCHES.
I might be riding red this weekend instead of green.

You know how there's always that one guy in the group that you just can't freakin' stand?Well that didn't happen on this trip. Everyone was super cool & fun to hang out with. A great bunch of people & really good riders.
As I predicted, I brought up the rear most of the time. But once the heavens opened up & the trails turned to grease, the old-school XR really shined!
I literally just got home... so I dunno if I'll get any footage up tonight or not. But I'll try.

Left the camera rolling during a photo shoot. Threw this together in a hurry, so nothing spectacular... unless you count Bill showing off his assets.

In this clip is 2001kdx, Jeb, me, & non KDX forum friend Keith. The XR was sputtering a bit, but still got me around ok.
Same vid, two places to watch. Take your pick. http://vimeo.com/23841491

I'll try to put a compilation type vid together soon that includes as much of our whole group as possible. Might take a week or so.

Sweet. Did it rain a lot while you all were there ... or was all that just residual?
Also, what kind of helmet cam are you using? Excellent clarity!!
