stator rewind questions
Ohh...my finally means all the while been wanting to rewind both coil on the SR stator but too lazy too. I have been using just the rewound H series lighting coil on my SR KDX200. No issues but just curious if were to put two rewound coil what would be the output?

Re: stator rewind questions
i get it :)
100 watts would be nice
i took my KDX out yesterday and it took me forever to hit the trails
when i finally got there it was allready getting dark and i rode for about an hour
most of the trail was in a dense wooded area...every time i got off of the throttle or locked up the rear the headlight would dim to a flicker
added a whole new dimension to the trail

Re: stator rewind questions
Wow that looks nice! Let us know how it goes.
Btw how many magnets does your flywheel have? Did you wrap the coils in the same direction they were originally in? And are they both wrapped the same or is one opposite from the other? Also are you doing the two coils in parallel or in series?

Re: stator rewind questions
thanks SS109...I have not counted how many magnets on my flywheel, but I am using the H flywheel. yes i wrap the coil the same way it came off. Should be opposite because if you notice from the pics, the end from both coil are opp to each other. In my previous post (same thread) I mistaken that both coil are in series. now I am sure that they are in parallel. In case one fails, still got the other to run./
