It was super nice. Sold before I could go get it.
Guess he feels he got a deal on it,if you dont want to pay that its not his problem there is someone that will.Dont get me wrong but KTM is not the be all bike everyone makes it out to be,the kdx has a excellent engine for woods riding.

The kx125 nor the kdx portion of the bike has a title. I think he said the Previous owner/builder gave him a bill of sale. Does this mean I wont be able to plate the bike?

I don't know the particulars of your state, but no paperwork will likely make it difficult.

You didn't hear it from me, but you might want to check out Vermont's DMV website. It might help you out.

Yeah, I tried to buy this bike as well... I first got a commitment from the owner to cooperate on the deal (as I live in Las Vegas), by helping with the logistics of shipping it (by commercial freight), he agreed then later after I had done several hours of research declined his aforementioned help. After that and being pissed-off, decided to build my own. He does have the builder's info, so request it, I did. The list is complete and is quite helpful. I also talked to the builder and he is nice. Or if you must buy one, try building one, it's really quite rewarding and you'll be doubly proud. I'm down to fitting the pipe/silencer and after that it is powder coating time. The suspension is done and ready. Rear wheel has been changed to 18", am keeping the stock tank 2.2gal. My RM250 (2.3gal) has gotten 40+ miles (in Race), so I think the 220 will go at least that far.

I built a hybrid with 06 kx125/04 kdx it was stupid easy I'm not a welder or machinist either. The PC pipe bolted right on using stock mounts & kx250 PC silencer. I also have fmf rev. & torque pipes that fit but the mounts have to be modified a bit & the torque seems to fit better with the torque ring. I think I spent more time modifing the Clarke oversize tank to go around the head than anything else, it was that easy. BTW the stock kx tank bolts right on but I don't want to stop riding it so I needed a bigger tank. It's (the bike) also about 15-17lbs. lighter than my kdx was. Definitly well worth the time and money I've ridden a ktm 300 a fair bit and for me the kawi. is probably just as good (fast) as the ktm. A bigger more powerful bike does not nessisarily make me faster
