I hereby hi-jack this thread with the following question (statement) -

What is with the stupid rivited-on endcap of the TC II?

I wanted to replace all of the packing in my silencer, but had to drill out the rivets get the endcap off and do so. Now I've got to find stainless steel screws to replace them.

Could it be that FMF figures that you are to never replace the endcap packing?

Could it be that I am the stupid one?!

You gotta use stainless rivets. I had them boys on the phone during a while back during the poor fit discussion and they said that the end cap has gotta come off and use rivets cuz screws may back out. So, why don't they just put in a few extra stainless rivets with the broom handle?

If FMF had to talk to all their customers about fit, they would probably just close their doors! No one could take that much abuse! :lol:
