Do y'all think 1999 99 Kawasaki KX250 KX 250 Front Forks Legs & Triple Clamps & Bars will bolt right on to my 1992 kdx 250

No. It requires a stem swap. It won't "just bolt on". Any KX125/KX250 clamps from 1992 and newer will not "just bolt on". The bearing sizes are larger.

Earlier this month I bought a KDX200 transmission off ebay just to see if it would work since my bottom end was apart. The seller offered a refund option, so I took a chance. The shaft for the clutch is a different diameter than the 250, and I think the output shaft wasn't the same, either.

I just listed my Pro Circuit for sale just in case you're still looking for one.

Did you send yours off or do you have a local shop

A local shop I deal with. $100 for rod kit and $50 to press it together. I know it uses the same rod kit kx to kdx but don't know about entire crank.

Just so anyone that is looking for them can find them easier, the Vforce III reed setup for the KDX250 and KX500 is part# V3R08

Those look like replacement reeds for the VFIII reed system. I also believe them to be listed wrong as Moto Tassinari does not list anything for the KDX250 and the years listed are wrong as well.

The VFIII is all clipped together, no screws, and the reeds in the ebay link look to have holes in them for screws so I would think a VFII.

I have head gasket, fmf fatty pipe, fmf turbine core silencer, boysen reeds and an opened up air box lid. And I recently stuck the engine on a rm 250 chassis and installed a auto clutch. Now I have a tru woods weapon. If I rode open roads I would have just kept the kdx chassis it was better in a straight line but sucked on single track where I ride
Hijack...

Which auto clutch are you running?
How bout a little report on the auto with the dx250 engine?

I had efm make me an auto clutch. It was about $740 after shipping both ways, and took two weeks for them to get it done. It is well worth every penny. It made me way faster and no need to worry about stalling anymore. I've only been back riding for a few months after 20 yrs off. And taking the clutch out of the equation makes it alot easier to dodge the trees at a much faster rate. Plus I have some medical problems and that helps keep my left hand from going numb after a few minutes. Now I need to find some fasst flexx bars and hopefully that will finish my hybrid build. The auto clutch will turn your trans fluid black after one ride though. But I am riding a gear higher now letting it slip a little coming out of tight corners. I ride mostly real tight single track.kroynon did u every get all the parts I sent you on your bike and get it going yet.

Thanks for the report. I've been thinking of an auto clutch but have never tried one before.

All the parts are on the bike and it's up and running great thanks. Full rebuild on the engine combined with the rear suspension etc. from Roy and a fork conversion has really made my '92 an awesome machine. The carb is set up with a 38 pilot/158 main/#7 slide . FMF Fatty, Boyesen reeds and .26 head gasket. This bike rips. So much so that I've put my '08 KX450 up for sale since it never leaves the garage anymore.
