I seen this on a trial website from England. Someone with tools and skills (Slick Nick) could make these and sell them to us.
Trials Bike Parts :: Engine & Transmission :: Honda TLR200 / TLR250 Clutch Actuating Arm Extension / Lightener
If that link doesn’t work then someone tell me how to attach a photo.
Looks simple enough to make. However, the stock KDX arm has a tab to keep the cable in the arm that would need to be accounted for.
Has anyone got a spare stock clutch arm that they could send me? It would probably be just as easy for me to make an entirely new piece from scratch, probably even including the main shaft part.
Ok it took me a couple days but I do have one I can send you. I’m leaving tomorrow for the VetMX Nationals and won’t be home till sometime Sunday so next week I can remove it from the engine I have and send it to you.
Slick_Nick if you will message me your address I will remove the clutch arm and get it shipped to you. Broke my collarbone this past weekend at the Veteran Nationals but I should be able to get it out with one arm.
I'll send you an email as your account doesn't support private messaging. Sorry to hear about your collarbone! Did mine last spring and it wasn't fun! See here: viewtopic.php?f=94&t=25523

@Slick_Nick, I'd certainly buy 2 of those extended clutch release arms if you ended up making a batch up out of all new steel stock, or modifying used OEM as you've done your original as.
I'm sure you could sell out of a small batch in a reasonable amount of time if advertising on eBay and Facebook KDX groups.
How much would you have to charge per piece if you made a batch of say 25?
I've got 2 bikes / 3 total 220 engines (1 as a spare), and only 1 of the NLA OEM '92-'93 KX125 clutch release arms. I'm after these so that I can run uprated clutch springs but have near stock lever effort while benefiting from the added clamping force to have less clutch slippage under hard acceleration with modfed heads and ported cylinders among other upgrades.
MoonStomper's testimonial of this benefit really sold me, along with learning of the popular Fredette-endorsed Vesrah Honda XR400R/XR350R/XR250/CBR900RR/etc friction disc upgrade for 35%-40% larger friction lining material surface area.

I appreciate the suggestion, but it's a pretty time consuming process, making that many isn't something I'm interested in. Life has changed somewhat since I originally posted in this thread, my spare time isn't as plentiful as it once was.

Dude.... I hear you 100% on that!!! No kidding. What happened to large amounts of free time to do things we love?!?!? Growing older means you're being pulled too many directions at once.
