Cheers for the welcome all. Not got much to say about the KDX right now as i havent had it long (sold my DRZ400 to get it). Seemed silly having 2 4 stroke bangers and i hadnt had a 2 stroke for donkies years so along came KDX.
Oh, i mentioned i had a KTM aswell. Not now, bad deal etc.
Anyway, im sure i'll be quizing you all a plenty regarding the bike and handy trick bits
Heres a pic of it in all its glory anyway.
Alongside my XR650R.
Hey up bigbolx, reckon we should ask Trev over for technical advice?
I tried riding at night one time... problem is.. the headlight was always where I didn't want to look... in the air or pointed at the ground.
Scary to say the least!

Broke my nose years ago trail riding at night. was so focused on the tail light of my mates all new all dancing DT125R (yep, back in the 80's) cause my lights on my DT175MX were rubbish that i didnt see him shift. It was a tree branch poking out and it hit me fair and square in the kisser breaking my nose. Had to stop because i was seeing stars but the worst bit was when my mate turned round to see if i was ok. I was swallowing so much blood it was making me talk like a Dalek It was hard the rest of the time we were out just breathing through my mouth and blowing big bubbles that would pop and blow flecks of blood into my eyes
Oh, those were the days
Only thing I ever felt safe riding offroad at night was a sled...Ski's aren't attached to the light which helps a lot. On a bike I always felt like I needed a helmet-light.
