Hello!
My name is Isaac Nelson, I am 28, and I am from Long Beach, CA. I got a 95 kdx200 about 7 months ago as my first dirtbike.
I’ve been loving dirt biking so far, and even more so my KDX.
Looking forward to reading, posting, riding, and maybe even making some parts for these bikes.
My bike:
1995 KDX
1999 YZ125 fork conversion
Magura Hymech Clutch lever/ slave cylinder
34mm SC3
Boyesen Rad Valve
Rear Tubliss

Welcome, Isaac!! That's a fine example of a tastefully modified KDX that you have there, good job on scoring that and to any of the work that you've done or will do to improve it, it looks to be very legit as it sits. Rear Tubliss and good tires is an awesome mod, one of the best. The front is nice to do, but it is so much more difficult to install the fronts due to the skinnier tire. The rear is easier than tubes to install in my opinion.
Nice work on the new SC3 as well, I just got mine here, awaiting another few spare evenings to do a top end refresh so I can really see the full potential of the carb as opposed to a well worn top end with close to 500 hard hours on it...
KYB 46mm open chamber forks are a great setup as well, those '99 YZ125 forks you have.
Maier rear fender, another awesome choice, so expensive at $110 vs the UFO reproduction OEM-style for $35-$40, but the Maier is the toughest fender ever made...
Tell is about the areas you ride. Do you have any tantalyzing photos of the bike out on the trails?
Welcome to the KDX community!
