Throttle cable component help

Hi all

I recently purchased a '95 kdx 200. Throttle cable was shot and I have a new OEM one as well as the barrel adjuster at the carb end. I have the original 45 degree throttle tube carb cap. What I am unsure of is what clip or other similar part is used to secure the cable adjuster to the end of the throttle cable housing.

I think it is part number 92036-018, but cannot confirm. Anyone able to sort me out? See image for clarification

Yes, it's an oddly shaped ring that slots in there. I just had mine out the other day. I can snap a picture for you later.
Edit: I checked the part number, that looks to be it if memory serves me correctly. I'll get a picture later.
