Well, this was a bit out of left field for me. Bought a new bike, a 2025 CRF300L Rally. I've been thinking about getting a new bike for some time, and this ended up being it.
I absolutely love it. I was looking for something reliable and low maintenance, and with that is pretty decent offroad. This checks all of those boxes. I took it to some trails around me and it did really well. For its weight being around 335 pounds, I felt like I could whip it around just like the KDX. And it's a dual sport, so I can ride it anywhere, really. More seat time, so I can ride right after work and so on.
I honestly didn't think I was going to buy another 4 stroke, especially a brand new one, but this thing really is great.
My only nitpick is the suspension. It's not amazing, much too soft, but I knew that going in, and luckily the aftermarket for suspension upgrades is plentiful.

You're very right. I sold the 450 as well, so an update is very much needed.
