Contact Eric Gorr Racing, he was the only one I knew of offering these kits.

If I recall correctly, you may've had to lose the main exhaust powervalve flapper to bore to 240cc, same as an E-Series bored to even 69.00mm.

Personally if it were mine, I'd look for a replacement 220 head and 200H/220R cylinder....

I have the "modded" powervalve flapper, and head to go with it. I've had this cylinder just sitting around for the past 10 or so years, I was gonna freshen up my 200 and remembered i had this cylinder and head siting around, and if i could find a piston, I would definetly run it, but I have searched here and there with no luck. This might be a giant paper weight.

Call Eric Gorr! You also could have a batch of custom pistons made for it and resell on eBay, but the used piston that came out of it would be very helpful to have copied. Eric Gorr is the key for this. Call his number and leave a message. He may even have them in stock!

Email form only, no phone #, he's semi retired now and doesn't want constant phone ringing....

so I contacted eric gorr, and he said to contact wossner north america, which i did, their response was:

Hello,

Thank you for contacting the Wossner North America Team

Regarding your inquiry, Wossner does not stock a piston that matches these dimensions. It may be possible for Wossner to produce a custom piston for your application. For custom pistons, we would require further information from you to determine this in more detail.

You can find information on how to begin the custom order process here: Wossner Pistons - Custom Orders – WOSSNER NA

Some additional information:

• Piston cost is $250-$275 / varies depending on the quantity (minimum batch size is six pistons)

• Pistons include rings, wristpins, and clips

• Production lead time is 12-16 weeks after design print approval

• 50% deposit required before production

Please let us know if you have any additional questions.

Kind regards,

The Wossner Team

Using the wayback machine internet archive, I see that Eric Gorr stated on his website in the 2000's that the sleeve and piston for the 240 kit were provided by LA Sleeve. You may want to try contacting them.

I did just that, and here is what they had to say:

Hello James,

We discontinued that KDX200 big bore kit 20 years ago. Sorry, we no longer offer those 240cc big bore piston kits. But, we are considering producing another batch of the pistons in the next 12 months. We’ve been getting some requests and it might happen again. No promises though. Maybe try back at the end of the year.
