Hi after nearly 2 years I have 95% completed my 84 kdx 250 project the only thing I'm needing is a rear shock.Question is has anyone cross referenced the kdx item with any other make/model ??.I'm in the uk so parts are non existent for this model.

DAMN!! That is nice!
You may need to buy a new custom made shock. In the USA, there was Works Performance or Race Tech at one point. Goood luck.

Thanks for the reply Looks like the best thing is a rebuilt item .Hagon shocks is my best option I think.not much choice in the uk

I'd buy this and rebuild it.
From 82-88 there are a lot of KX and KDX models that share shock body width, but length/travel are likely to be different among them all.
