1987 KDX200

I have an 1987 KDX200. It's in great shape. It was my uncle's, who purchased it new. He is pushing 70 now, so I have inherited it. It has run great up until recently. The Ignition coil went out and tested bad. The stator tested good. So, I was able to locate a coil that was good. However, I have narrowed down my problem to the CDI. I purchased a replacement off of regulator rectifier.com
This unit comes with the coil and cdi together, however, the wiring is a bit different. Has anyone used one of these? Thanks!

I have never heard of a combined coil and CDI. Good luck with it.

Sorry...I realize this is an old thread, but just curious, did you ever get this unit to work? I just bought the same thing for a 1988 KDX200 and have the same problem...wiring is a bit different, and directions aren't super clear. I have reached out to the vendor as well, but was just curious if you ever had any luck with this. Thanks.
