Greetings from Central Florida

Post by SwampMonkey »

Hello group! I'm about as noob as a noob can be, but I'm lucky enough to have some knowledgeable friends, who recommended I get a KDX200 for my first forays into trail riding. I acquired a 1994 model in very good condition, and after riding for a bit, it's time to do some maintenance. I promise to use the search feature before I pose my noob questions. Looks like I found a good resource for information!

Welcome. Yes there is so much great information here about our bikes. What part of central Florida? I'm in the Sarasota area.

Welcome to the group and congrats on the bike. Never got that far south, but did a lot of riding in the forests outside Tallahassee in the 11 years I was stationed at Eglin AFB. These bikes are great for learning to wrench on, very few special tools required. A service manual and torque wrench are a must have.
