KE100

Post by dc2012 »

So I can get a KE100 pretty cheap (under 100 bucks) It's a 1978. Any of you guys have experience with these bikes and or know a good place to source parts? It looks to be in rough condition.

I had one as a kid. I think it was a 73 or 74. It was a rotary valve. I ran the hell out of that thing. Try ebay for parts.
If you lend someone $20, and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.

I raced its predecessor, G5 100, in the 125 class, hare and hounds and hare scrambles. That was a loooooonnnngggg time ago!
Gotta' be hard to find parts. Probably eBay?

Kawasaki made the KE 100 all the way up to 2001. The 1986-2001 is virtually unchanged (much like the H model 200 was) and many parts are available through the normal online dealers (MotoSports, RMATV, etc). And a lot of the B series parts (86-01) will work with the A series (76-85). Oil injected, air-cooled, 2T dual sport...fun riding. For a benjamin I'd do it just for fun...but I am sick that way lol
