Moose Billet Throtle Tube

Post by RC_ichard »

Yoooo what's up guys,

I'm finishing up the restoration job on my 2002 KDX 200 and am down to the last few things I need to replace which includes a cracked throttle tube. I found a few plastic replacements, but also noticed there is a moose billet throttle tube for the KDX line that looked interesting as I've never had an issue with my Zeta billet tube on my DRZ400S.

Has anyone tried the moose billet throttle tube on their KDX and have any feedback, good or bad, that you can share?

Thanks!!

How much is the part?
If you lend someone $20, and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.

Around $40, so just a bit more over the cost of the stock tube at my local dealer which will run me about $36 for the throttle tube and wheel (46019-1054 and 59101-1103)

I switched to these grips a while back and will never mess with glue again. They include the throttle tube. Just another option for you.

You will have to purchase the cam separately....see the application guide.

Is Cam L a direct fit? I have Pro Taper lock ons and had to trim the cam in order for it to work.
