Caliper rebuild kit....your favorite?
So, I have removed pins and the brake piston from my caliper. Going to get a rebuild kit and do it right. What brand parts does anyone have a preference for? All Balls? Someone else?

I'll be watching this as I'm likely in the same boat as you, yet again.
How's the rest of the build coming? I got a bench mint motorized wire wheel/buffer from a friend a few days ago. It's so great to clean up gnarly parts along the rebuild process.

Re: Caliper rebuild kit....your favorite?
I ordered a caliper and master cyl rebuild kit from www.rmatvmc.com (Rocky Mountain). All Balls brand. Even though the kit comes with hanger pins, I ordered the Tusk brand hanger pins. Don't want that recessed hex head problem again. After playing around with this...lubing the slides, using brake cleaner to get grunge off....This disc brakes are much simpler that I thought they would be. I'll move to the front caliper as soon as my parts arrive and I finish this up.
Other than that....my rebuild is pretty much complete. I've run out of things to look at. Ignition works fine so...I haven't touched that. I don't have the lighting hooked up. Don't really care about it.

My wiring harness (what little there is) has been pretty hacked up, but I'm hoping to get some lighting going. If you don't want your headlight, lmk :) night riding is valuable in the desert.
