Went out to the Dessert 100 in April, after not riding for too long, I go do the poker run. Anyways, long story short....
Bad bike setup, to much air in the ass end and BOOM! Going hard and fast up a rocky hill, I manage to bounce the rear end up hard and go over the bars hard.
I got a bad concussion, 15 stitches above my eye/eye brow and 6 very busted up ribs. The docs didn't even want me to go back over the mountains to get home.
I guess the good part is that the bike was relatively undamaged.
I'm posting this right about the time that it should be safe for me to ride again.
Now I can start training for the next Dez 100!

OUCH! That sounds rough! I am glad it was not worse for you.

Damn! Glad you are healing up. That concussion crap is the worst. Be careful and protect that baby! I'm still dealing with the effects of mine from March.

Saw a couple bad crashes this last year at the D100, sorry to hear you were one of them. There's a lot of spots in there I wouldn't want to involuntarily dismount in...again....One of these times we need to get a KDX meetup at the D100, I saw LOTS of the green beauties out there this year.
