Carb issues

Post by Jamiemc213 »

Hi,I’ve recently rebuilt my top end on my KDX125 and it’s been running good, had it out for a couple hours today no problems then I stop the bike to get something to eat and then when I start it back up again it doesn’t want to idle and wants to die when I’m pulling up to traffic lights downshifting and I don’t have a clue why.Any ideas?

Make sure your air screw is adjusted properly.

Air screw is one and half turns out and it’s been running well like that apart from this issue that’s started in the last hour

Probably picked up some dirt or something in the pilot jet. Pull and clean your carb.
