Post by KDXASH » 09:03 am Aug 29 2019

Hi all the headlight switch has packed up on my 89 kdx200 sr I've brought a new kdx200e push button switch to replace it however the new one has 2 x wires coming from it and the one from the sr has many wires my question is which wires do I need to tap Into to make the new switch work (rubbish at electrics) :snooty:

The SR has a 2 beam light (hi/lo) as well as the turn signals. You will need the wiring diagram to figure out which wires are which. The switch from an E will not give you hi/lo functionality, only on/off. Better choice would be any universal light switch/turn signal switch (many available on ebay/amazon). You will still need the wiring diagram.
