I have a standard exhaust on my kdx and have cutting and welding equipment to remove the inner baffels but I am unsure what jetting changes will be required just for this and maybe the removal of the snorkel. I would like the jets ordered before I go ahead. It's still on 28 mm carb at this point.

With the exhaust opened up and the airbox open you'll likely need to go up a size or two on pilot and main to compensate for the additional airflow. Best to get a few jets so you can run through the process properly. They aren't expensive.

Re: 93 kdx 200sr exhaust
After riding for a few months have got the slow and main jets that I need. Have removed the oil injection system. Now running 32/1 premix. Found a throttle restriction device (large metal spacer stopping carb slide fully working) in the 28 mm carb. So now have cut and welded the exhaust to remove the baffels see pics now onto jetting.

So how was the result? Was it worth the effort?

Did you see any change due to exhaust pipe temperature going up? I would think that the pipe would be hotter now without all the metal from the baffles.
