rebuild

Post by frame78 »

I have only recently joined so thought I would say hello. I live in Scotland and have owned my kdx250sr for around 6 years now.
After a recent piston seizure I have decided to do complete rebuild.
Just got the newly powder coated frame back so I will try to post some photos when I work out how to do that.
I have a lot of knowledge and experience of working on this bike as well as a parts book. If anyone needs help or part numbers please let me know. Cheers.

Welcome to the forums. Most of us ride non-SR models, so having first hand knowledge available will be a great resource for our SR shod brethren.

Any updates on the rebuild? I'm in north Wales and just got an SR project to run alongside my E model. The SR seems a lot better for dual use than the std E version having lights and wider ratio gearbox giving more top speed without reving the nuts off it
