After having a KX125 years ago I knew I wanted another bright green two stroke.
Then I saw this one and had to grab it.

It's a Japanese market 1990 KDX200SR (G2), it runs ok and appears to be fairly original.
After cleaning it up I got on to what needed attention - mainly just a sticky throttle, weak brakes and leaking fuel tap, not too bad so far.
I even reinstated the road gear, speedo, signals, mirrors and headlight and thankfully it all worked even the ac flasher unit.

I knew I'd need to check the engine, especially the KIPS valves but only got as far as removing the lefthand cover when I found the first issue, lots of oily muck in the cover due to the almost non-existent crank seal.
So that is where I'm at, I have a full seal kit and will throw new bearings, rod, piston and rings in it and probably some new powervalves I imagine
