Donation frequency?

Post by Snapp200 »

Im curious as to how the donation portion works. Is it a one time thing and you have access, or is it a monthly type set up?
Other words, if I donate once will a certain amount of privilege time be activated and reset if another donation is not sent in?
My apologies if the answers were in the areas I searched, I just haven’t found that bit of info to cure my wonder.
Thanks,

Snapps

Each donation is separate and a one time deal. The levels of different access are based on the amount donated. However, access is probably not a good word choice, as everyone has access to ALL the forums and the ability to post. The additional things are stuff like ability to do private messages, and photo gallery. All the good stuff is HERE.

Gotcha! Thank you. I read that but I just was not clear on wether or not it was to be set up as a monthly occurrence or not.
Clarity is now with me, my friend! [emoji1597]

Live long and prosper.

It is just one time, not monthly or yearly. With no ads, donations keep Julien D from digging deeper into his pocket to pay the cost for running it. :prayer:

Found it

It might take a couple of days for Julien D to get it set up. I don't see how that would have anything to do with you not seeing that, though. :hmm: :hmm: :hmm:

Hey look at that! I can see it now!

I don’t get it....

[emoji23][emoji23][emoji23] jk. I just read through the comments to appreciate the feel, though. Lol

Ok. So now that I am done installing a new xfmr for our skybell to work, I will sit down and relax, knowing the wife feels safe, and get down on this Paypal thing.
Thanks again for you guys responses. I can tell this is going to be a great group.

Hey, every little bit helps. Any and every donation is appreciated! You'd be surprised how may I used to get for 1$ back when that was the minimum. I manage to keep the cost fairly low by managing the virtual server myself.

Dang. well I do feel a little better then. lol
So, you are the sole operator of the server? That sounds very involving. I don't know, it may be a breeze, but I was over here having a hard time just trying to figure out how to make my avatar pic the right allowable size to upload...
I'm glad you do what you do, this forum has been a pretty awesome experience so far!
Not many seem to be so straight forward and laid back as much as this one seems to be. Laid back in the sense that, most others are filled with the clicks and my stuff is faster, better and meaner than you or yours.
I picked a good one, for sure. :supz:
