kdx220sr cylinder head

Post by kdxdazz »

i understnad there is a segment on kdxrider for the SR model but posting on here as looking for information and comparisons to the kdx220r cylinder head, i can't see that the SR cylinder has been talked about on the internet so this video might be of interest to some. if anybody can share squish band width, clearance and CC so i can continue my steep learning curve, cheers

Immediately I notice is has a significantly wider squish band area for peak power at lower RPM vs a standard 220R head. More low end torque less rev out. I now hear you talking about squish and volume in the vid. Your RB SR head is about the same as any other "RB'd" SR head.

The squish height on the SR stock head looks tighter than a 220R, but I can't really tell in the video. I'll watch the 2nd half later.
