So I was able to remove the cylinder, but that nut behind the exhaust vale actuator rod is going to be a bitch to torque to spec.
I have the Motion Pro cylinder wrench mane for the job, but I see this one nut/bolt being a pain.
Is there a trick to this?
Thanks

Re: Exhaust valve actuator and the cylinder bolt behind it
I normally don't use a torque wrench on the base cylinder nuts anymore. I've got a good feel feel for being real close on the torque just by hand. Even tightening from nut to nut is more important than actually hitting an exact number anyway. I practice a little beforehand using the exact tool setup I'll be using but on something else then test with a torque wrench to make sure my feel is close. Never had a problem with a leak ever on many bikes.

With the crows foot its not too bad. You can always pull the right side cover off and get the whole actuator out of the way.

Just use a ring spanner and luggage scales

I was able to torque it down with the motion pro torque wrench extender run at 90 degrees to the wrench. It’s slow going, one ratchet click at a time but it works.
