Here's how the different shifters fit, if anyone is interested, keep in mind though, it is with an 05 KX125 frame:
Stock - fits good, but wears out fast, pivot is open at the top for gunk to get into:
On hybrids, it has to do with how your conversion was done. If they still have the OEM kicker on there I start questioning the rest of the bike. Honestly, of all the many labor and research intensive things I’ve done to mine including the clutch actuator mod, the Belgian valves in my OEM forks, and even the Fredette airbox/Radvalve/Desert pipe, cylinder porting power mods, this was the best money I’ve spent.
Curious why it seems not to fit certain bikes though.
