Engine boggs bad on trails.

Post by Ewbarger »

So, I have installed 158 main, left needle in 3rd position, and alone size smaller pilot. Still had the rich symptoms, so I replaced the mid body gasket on carb. Still running rich. Took out the Reed cage and found a cracked Reed. The cage is a Boyesen cage. Im ordering the right reeds and will go from there, but I'm pretty sure it will be running great with new reeds.

Oh wow!

That will definitely make it run poorly.

OUCH!
If you lend someone $20, and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.
