Headlight and Taillight dim fixed with new bulbs

Anyone ever run into an issue where both the tail light and headlight are very dim? Everything runs great but I ran into this after putting in the new frp built engine.Thanks.

Does it brighten up with rpm? IME, the stock headlight and taillight would dim at idle but immediately brighten with any rpm increase.

It did not change while the rpms increased at least to a noticeable degree

Unplug the stator wires and plug them back in for a quick test. Make sure the connectors are nice and clean.
