Won't hold pressure after rebuild
Okay guys here it goes. Last year my clutch side seal went out at the end of a long ride. So I took this time to do a bottom end rebuild, new bearings and seals, rb rebuilt crank and head mod. Got it all put together on the bench and go to do a pressure test and it's leaking at the carb boot to reed block. The boot looks good and reed block looks good, torqued down to spec and still get bubbles around the boot to reed block. The temps here have been in the 30's wonder if that might have something to do with it, idk. Anything you guys have I'm open too. Thanks

Good for you doing the leak down test. Check out the post regarding the same issue from Eric R.

Smear silicone adhesive on the gasket lightly on both sides.A thin film, just enough to make it change color and let it dry over night.
Then you’ll have a good dealing gasket.

Silicone works well between the reed cage and rubber intake boot as well.

Silicone is not rated for gasoline. Try to find something different. Check the packaging or website to see if it withstands gasoline.

Yep, silicone can make a nasty mess when gasoline is involved. It's better to use something that specifically lists that it is fuel resistant.

Yes thanks guys I should have put an update on this, I ended up using the threebond that I got for the case, it's good for high temp, low temp, oil, coolant, gasoline. And also thanks John_S that link was perfect

I've never done it myself.
