Pivot Works Swingarm Bearing Location

Post by txst »

Dumb question - I am replacing my swingarm bearings with the Pivot Works single bearing. I assume you center the bearing in the swingarm, correct? I was thinking of the loading on the swingarm bolt, and it might be better if it was pressed in to the factory depth of 6mm from the outside.

I was surprised at how much less bearing surface there was compared to the two OEM bearings.

Sorry, no clue. I've only used the two bearings per side before.

Yeah same here. Every pivot works kit I've used has been the dual bearing (same as OEM) design.
