Clutch actuator not actuating

Post by JoshJHTX »

Hey all! I’m putting my clutch cover back on and realize that I have very little clutch pull and after about 1/4 of an inch it is stiff. What I’m wondering is, does the clutch actuator arm have to go in a certain way and if my return spring is placed correctly thanks!

Your actuator looks to be correctly oriented. What did you torque your clutch spring bolts too? Did you remove the clutch while the cover was off?

Yeah i'd check the torque specs on your springs - if too tight can cause a tough pull. Also just check your cable slack.

Why was the cover off? Any chance you installed EBC heavy duty springs? i had this happen to me and had to swap them for a new set of OEMs
