Hey all, I received my Cometic gasket set today (C7242) and noticed the packaging states: KAW KDX200 68mm. Knowing my stock bore is 66mm, is a 68mm head gasket correct?

I’m assuming you don’t have a sliding caliper that measures in mm. Put a tape measure on the hole of the gasket. You could then convert inches to mm and see what you’ve got. Hopefully the 68 is a misprint

Thanks for the response John that’s exactly what I did. Sure enough it converted to 68mm. I mean, 1mm away from the bore edge can’t be enough to expose water jackets etc?? I emailed the distributor where it came from but haven’t heard anything back
