Just realized that I never gave this thread closure. Ordered a new RB carb and that fixed it up. Don't know how or why but I think the old carb was just worn out. Runs great now.

Great to hear, and thanks for letting us know! I'm still debating between the RB and Lectron. I really want to try an RB but my riding is between 6k - 12k.

I'd go Lectron. That's what I've got on the hybrid. No more jetting issues.

Thanks for the follow up!

Carbs do indeed get worn out over time. Aluminum gradually wears away it seems. even worse if some previous owner didn't maintain the air filter religiously
