220 Fredette ported cylinder pics

Post by bikeman2502001 »

I finally figured out how to crop these, This is why you pay Jeff to do your porting and not your buddy. When i got my cylinder back I thought hmmmmmm are these little changes do all that he says it does. The answer is yes the performance gain is huge much more than it looked like it would. He targeted a few areas and made suttle chances a little here and a little there and it all added up to big gains he knows exactly where to cut and how much, I have 20cc's more than a KTM 200 thats what i was looking for. Now it runs like a modern day 250 less 30 cc's . I dont want to be part of pirating Jeff's work You absolutely should not try to do this your self as its not just that easy to get a grinder and start whittling away you will have a piece of junk in a hurry As only Jeff knows exactly how much to change the ports and where to get these results pictures are for reference only. Besides I think this is a steal at 180 thats cheap for what this does. a pipe is over 220 and it gives less than this.
If you are interested Call Jeff he will shoot you straight. He says send us your cylinder so we can do some magic on your cylinder And it is pretty much magic. Im happy and I hope you will be too

Cool! Thanks for showing the pictures.

As he suggested, don't try this yourself on a good cylinder. They make expensive doorstops!!
Thank you for participating on kdxrider.net. :bravo:

When i said like a modern day 250 minus 30 cc'c that 30 cc's doesnt come out all in 1 place thats spread out over the much longer power band
with less of it coming out on top I saw 1 dyno claim online that claimed 40 hp now that i have one i belive that is a very close to that give or take a couple It does have 20cc's more power than A ktm 200 And a better powerband than the KTM also now I have owned one I definitely like the Kdx better in everyway and yes even though Ive studied the changes made to the porting closely and i understand what he did and why, If i ever need to get another KDX ported it will go back to Jeff to be ported Its a guarantee that it will be done right the first time every time Since he was a factory racer he gets to know all the secrets that only a few know and it shows here
