Radiator breather

Post by 737diesel »

I apologize in advance for the dumb question. I'm putting everything back on after a fresh top end, new reeds, new hoses, new FMF Gnarly Woods and Turbinecore 2 tail pipe. It has all gone back together really well, but I can't remember this one simple thing. So, what is the recommended routing of the breather line from the right radiator? I've tried the service manual and google images, finding nothing. Right now I have it running a fairly straight route which is close(but not touching) to both the pipe and the cylinder. Does that sound right? Too close to the hot section?

The breather hose that comes off the nipple next to the radiator cap goes to the bottom of the overflow tank, and then the top tube from the overflow tank runs down the side of the frame downtube to just under the front of the engine
