ACTUALLY reading and/or consulting service manual

Post by treelimb »

Have any of you forum members applied your "knowledge" (or lack thereof) to the functionality of your KDX only to then, years later, read the manual and the proverbial light bulb illuminate ? As in not correctly applying said knowledge that you thought you possessed?

I am guilty and I've owned this bike for well in excess of a decade.

Perhaps I was doing things correctly but the manual refreshed my assumed knowledge.

Anyhoo, I truly and seriously clicked my shock clickers and low and behold, my suspension, which is heavily invested in, actually felt GOOD yesterday. Hopefully I have not been clicking enough and/or just hit the right click combo or other.

I'd like to think that I had a brain fart and thought that I had forgotten. Either way at this point my suspension is working-
