KDX200 fuel lines
hi all,
can someone tell me (or pic/drawing) where all the fuel lines from the carburetor goes? i bought a KDX200 from 1998 for my son, and i notice that the carburetor is missing some fuel lines.

Hello. Welcome to kdxrider.net.
Here's the Kawasaki Europe parts diagram. The tubes run down and are routed under the motorcycle. The dimensions are on the parts info if you want to just buy metric fuel hose from the aftermarket.

I know the parts catalogue, I sell auto parts for 20 years now, but on the catalogue they don't have a diagram.

Re: KDX200 fuel lines
On most models, there is a metal tab that loosely gathers the ends as they are routed down to the ground. There are several pictures in the printed OEM service manual. Look on the internet or a manual to see how they run.

Hey. You're welcome.
Sometimes a previous owner will swap parts and throw off the next owner on trying to learn how it is supposed to be.

There are two more, one on each side. One runs down through the ring washer on each side.
Here's a picture.

Do you see the ring on the left rear carb bowl screw? There is supposed to be another one on the right.

Re: KDX200 fuel lines
I route all hoses though the retainer shown in your picture. There is supposed to be another ring on the carb bowl.
If you lend someone $20, and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.

Yep, have all mine going thru that clamp as well.
Also, what's the purpose of that lug hanging down from the airbox?
