Trout Valley OHV Trail

Post by TRUAX »

Got to check out a trail down by Kellogg, Minnesota the other night. Pretty short only 9 miles, but up in the bluffs with some nice views of the Mississippi. Fairly easier riding with the exception of the back entrance hill to get up to the trail, sandy, rocky, rutted, and hellish haha. I took a buddy out for the first time on the trails and I thought we were going to turn around 5 minutes into it. So if you have anyone inexperienced with you stay away from the backside entrance with the campground and come in from Highway 61. Once we got up top the riding was pretty easy, a couple spots needed a little maintenance but it has been a hard season to keep up with I'm sure.

Closing the Trout Valley trail for the season, so got my 40 miles in yesterday. If anyone is ever in the area it's a really cool trail with some scenery, especially in the fall. I'm only 45 minutes from the trail so if you need a riding buddy just let me know!

Fun stuff!! Very nice scenery.
I also found out that my “beginner bike” has scared off a couple buddies. Gotta watch that.
