oakey mountain trail

has anyone ever rode this trail? i think i went there once, but they just called it lake burton? anyway......... if youve rode the trail, let me know what yall think.

anyone ride at oakey mountain???.........or ever been to besleys knob???

I haven't ridden Oakey Mountain but have ridden Beasley Knob several times. It's only about 5 miles from the house. Whatcha wanna know?

was wanting to know if anyone wanted to ride one weekend? i havent been to beasleys knob yet.........is it a good place to ride?

Beasley is a pretty good place to ride, but there is no single track. Everything is jeep/buggy width but it makes up for it with pretty challenging hills and rocky terrain. Trails run 10-15 miles in length depending on what they have open at any given time. There are also 2 other riding spots within 20 miles of BK. Davenport Mountain is another State ORV, plus Rockcrusher (MX track and lots of trails) is about 5 miles away and Brasstown Possum Trails (MX track and trails) is about 20 miles away.kdxmaniac wrote:was wanting to know if anyone wanted to ride one weekend? i havent been to beasleys knob yet.........is it a good place to ride?
BK and Davenport both shut down every winter (Jan-March) for erosion control purposes.
I'd be up for a ride sometime. Actually thinking about going out early tomorrow for a spin but haven't made my mind up yet.
