Hey everyone,

New to this forum, so hello! Just picked up an 89 KDX200 last night and was pretty stoked to find an active community for these things.

Just wondering if anyone has any experience with getting plates for these things in the Boston area. Just wondering what I can expect at the RMV lmfao.

I've got a previous atv registration for the bike but want plates so I'll have the option to take it on the streets to get out of the city. Worse come to worse I'm sure I can register it in VT but I'm trying to save that hassle and wait time.

From what I understand you can register it in VT(because they do not care and just want your money) and then you can get one for MA because you already have the one from VT. But you need to have all the equipment on it to make it street legal, like a horn, directional lights, brake lights that work to get it registered in MA.
