Hardy, har, har . . . LMAO and all of that.

I'd gladly give my bunk up for Vince - that's give up, as in . . . I'm not in it - if it made the difference in Vince coming down.

But Rick the Red Rider will probably give up a lot more for the record . . .

Hello all, 3 possibly 4 riders from Ohio wish to join this ride. I will call the Rockhouse tomorrow and reserve 1 unit for 2 people. I will hold off till Monday to send in the deposit to give all time to analyze the bunk situation.

Are there any bunks available in units that others have rented?

Awesome! I think there might be a couple of spaces in the reserved units, but im not sure. One unit will have 4 beds, but maybe sleep 5 or 6 if it has a pullout or stick a cot in there somewhere.... Rent your unit and go from there I guess. We will work something out. Make sure you tell them you are with the KDXRIDER group. Where are you in OH? What do you all ride?

Reservations made. Rockhouse Lounge is full, we will be at The Depot Lounge (also owned by Terry) 6 blocks down the rode. You have to pass the Depot Lounge to get to the trailhead.
Also, the Rockhouse has no fire rings for campfires. No fires permitted at the Rockhouse. The Depot has fire rings in back by the river (fishing also). All invited.

We plan to arrive Friday about noon and hit the trail after lunch.

We are from around the Akron area of OH.

I'm sure you can out ride me through the trails but on the flats ??
SEE YA !!

That bike is too much through the tight stuff for me.
I did raise the forks in the clamps yesterday about 10mm and it
handles like a different bike.
Very responsive steering now but we will see how it works in
the sand here in Michigan.
I will be bringing both bikes again.

An update on the Rockhouse reservations . . .

The "last" of the 2-room units was rented out by someone not in the group. Not the end of world or anything, 'woulda been nice to have just KDXRiders in there. BUT . . .

'turns out that Rick Sanson and his group have made reservations but have NOT paid the deposit. Terry couldn't get ahold of him and neither could I, so Terry is ready to rent that to someone else.

And it would appear Kirk and that gang haven't made reservations either, at least not where we're staying. I tried emails but I'm not getting responses which is unlike Kirk so maybe someone else can try. I'm getting this feeling they won't be able to go.

So that means that the Northern KY gang and the CT gang are the only ones presently staying in the Rockhouse. One of the units is rented out . . .

meaning that one of the units is STILL available.

WHO'S GOING TO RESERVE IT? NOW'S THE TIME!! Maybe Jth would change his reservation? Wait, we'd lose the fire pit. Whatever you think Jth . . . if you want to change you might want to do that now.

I've got a total count of . . .

4 Northern KY + 2 Northern KY campers (Dustin + his friend)
4 Connecticuticians
3-4 Ohions
1 Michiganian

14 confirmed.

I got to thinkin' . . . we had Tom Moody in the Rick Sanson Gang unit. With Rick Sanson very possibly not in the picture (I wish he would just call or text back one way or the other) we have to find Tom a spot . . . or maybe Tom and others rent the other unit out.
