Hey all,
Just wondering if I could get some final advice on a chipped exhaust valve issue (see pic below). I've asked on a KDX facebook group - and got a whole bunch of different answers! (Not surprising, tbh!) Anyway, as a last resort, I thought I'd check here. My current thoughts are to just run it as is. Is this a good idea? Or should I really try and track down a new one. I realise they don't make OEM now - but there's an outfit in the UK which makes SS versions... but they're pretty expensive! Close to $400 NZD - which is a set of gold valves for my forks!
Anyway, appreciate your thoughts! Should I just pony-up and buy new? Or will the existing one be okay?
Exhaust valve - should I use or not?

Re: Exhaust valve - should I use or not?
who told you they don't make OEM?
you could run it but i would use a sanding roll to smooth out the sharp edges then check when assembled that it doesn't bind or catch on anything?
its an unusual place to break off
