rear shock / linkage Torque Specs

Hey All,

just want to see what the torque specs are for an 86 dog bone linkage, rocker arm and rear shock mounting bolts for an 86 kdx200 , Thanks

Don't have this info for earlier bikes, but for later H Series bikes, the torque for the dog bone nuts is 61 Ft-lb.

For the rocker arm bolt, the manual shows a torque of 65 Ft-lb.

For the shock mounting bolts, my manual shows a torque of 29 Ft-lb.

I would think these would be pretty much the same for your 86 model. Hopefully someone with knowledge of your 86 model will correct me if these values are wrong for your bike.

I suggest you get on eBay and buy a "Owner's Manual & Service Manual" that came from Kawasaki. It will be the best money you can spend on your bike, and you won't even have to wait for someone to answer questions that have the answers in the book. :-) I spent the money to buy a manual that I gave you the information from. You can do it, too. :-)
