I run OEM still but if I was going aftermarket I would buy the GPI's. They're cheap yet proven reliable.

Hoses on my 05 are most likely original.
I got a low hour bike that appears neglected but not beat.
Hoses look ok.
But 20 years old? Could they be , IDK.
I like black hoses. But OEM costs more and aren’t aftermarket silicon better quality and cheaper?
Just not available in black

GPI does offer hoses in black but not sure if they offer the black for the KDX, sadly. However, there are lots of others that offer black... https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R ... &_osacat=0
As for what's better, well, OEM is a known quality that a lot of bikes, including my own, are still running without issue and are going on 20+ years of use. With the aftermarket silicone hoses your kind of rolling the dice with them hence why I recommended the GPI's as they are one brand that I know of that has proven themselves. That said, quality differs quite a bit out there so shop wisely.

Running the original OEM hoses on my 01 220 hybrid, and my dad is running the original OEM ones on his 94 200 with zero issues.

I am leaning towards OEM.
And with that said maybe I'll run what I have, they look OK.

My 2003 still has its OEM hoses.
If you lend someone $20, and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.

Recently put GPI hoses from ebay on a 1991 E series....had to trim a few of em a bit.
I think the new radiators are from same company
